A recent survey conducted by The Pew Research Center shows that a majority of Americans believe news reports of the government’s efforts to track terrorist activities by examining bank records have hurt America’s interests. However, having noted that, we find that a greater majority believe the news reports conveyed information the American public should have. Go figure.
