Ten A-10 Warthogs and more than 100 pilots and maintainers with the 926th Fighter Wing have returned to their home field at NAS JRB New Orleans after a three-month sojourn at Barksdale AFB, La., following Hurricane Katrina. The Shreveport (La.) Times reports that many wing personnel started heading back to their home station in November, leaving most of the unit’s maintainers to head home last.
