The multi-axis thrust-vectoring system installed on the VISTA NF-16 is employed for the first time in a test at the Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, Calif. By September 1993, the aircraft will achieve a transient angle of attack of 110 degrees and a sustained AOA of 80 degrees.
