Company pilot Robert Little makes the first flight of the McDonnell F-101A Voodoo at Edwards AFB, Calif. Originally conceived as a long range bomber escort, the “One Oh Wonder” will go on to a lengthy career as an interceptor and USAF’s first supersonic reconnaissance aircraft.
