Stealth technologies are not among those for which Lockheed Martin will seek an export license in its joint development of the SOM-J missile with Roketsan of Turkey. Asked if Roketsan would be providing the low-observable technologies on the missile, which is supposed to be stealthy, a Lockheed Martin spokeswoman said, “We are not releasing the details of the teaming arrangement.” We reported on the missile in the Oct. 23 Daily Report column.
The Air Force is requesting about $141 million for initial enlistment bonuses in its fiscal 2026 budget, while Space Force wants $13 million.
