CMSgt. William Turner is moving on to a new assignment as the command senior enlisted leader of US Transportation Command at Scott AFB, Ill., announced the Pentagon on Monday. Since December 2010, Turner has been Air Force Special Operations Command’s command chief at Hurlburt Field, Fla. He will replace CMSgt. Martin Klukas, who has been with TRANSCOM since November 2011.
The Air Force has begun flying its CV-22 Ospreys again. But that is just the start of a multi-step process to return the fleet to normal operations following a deadly crash last year, the service says.
