The Air Force has awarded a Bronze Star medal to TSgt. Michael Brady, a member of the 8th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Kunsan AB, South Korea, for his actions while deployed to support operations in Iraq. According to a June 4 Kunsan release, Brady received his medal on May 29 and commented after the ceremony, “I wouldn’t have been able to do any of this if it wasn’t for the great team I had out there with me. Brady served as a convoy commander for more than 200 days, during which his team moved more than 13,000 short tons of supplies to forward operating bases, sometimes coming under fire from insurgents.
