According to a Nov. 18 Pentagon release, the Bush Administration has nominated Maj. Gen. Harry Wyatt III to become the new head of the Air National Guard and receive a third star. Wyatt, who currently serves as the Oklahoma Adjutant General, must await Senate confirmation before taking the Air Guard leadership post, just vacated by Gen. Craig McKinley. McKinley received his fourth star in a Pentagon ceremony Nov. 17 and took charge of the National Guard Bureau.
