Columnist Eric Margolis in the Toronto Sun writes that the US Air Force invited him to address a “Checkmate” gathering on the Mid East and Southwest Asia on the strength of a column he wrote in July on “the decisive role [USAF] plays in Iraq and Afghanistan.” In this new piece, Margolis declares, “The Air Force without which these wars could not be waged, and which provides decisive, 24/7 top cover for the troops with almost instant response, gets far too little credit.” Ditto.
