A new
multinational poll indicates that most countries believe the US overplays its hand in attempting to be the world’s policeman. This survey by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and WorldPublicOpinion.org supports other recent surveys that show the US image is bad and growing worse, according to Steven Kull, editor of WorldPublicOpinion.org. However, the poll also indicates that many want America to remain engaged in world affairs, working with other countries to handle problems.
