The Air Force Memorial Foundation has a unique feature on its Web site that enables individuals to submit an Air Force person—past or present—as their “hero.” They can write a statement (500 words or less) in tribute to someone “who has been a hero” in their eyes. Go to the AFMF Web site and scroll down the main page to “Tell us about your Air Force hero” and follow the simple instructions.
