US Special Operations Command officials formally opened a new 112-thousand square foot facility for the Center for Special Operations at the command’s home base at MacDill AFB, Fla. Gen. Bryan D. Brown, SOCOM commander, has deemed the center a “model for joint intelligence and operations.”
The KC-Z4, a blended wing body tanker concept being developed by startup JetZero, could fuel larger groups of aircraft at longer range to hold more targets at risk, company officials say.
