Three Air Force Materiel Command personnel—one military and two civilians—will be attending the University of Tennessee’s Aerospace Master of Business Administration program, which is in its second year and in its first year as a USAF sponsored program, say AFMC officials. The Air Force acquisition office believe the program offers “a large payback” with minimal time away from work. The three airmen are: Maj. Wade Jense, Odgen Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah; Roshelle Orgusaar, Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., and Mary Lou Robinson, Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The program starts in January.
The U.S. military is maintaining a beefed-up presence in the Middle East, including fighters and air defense assets, following the U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities June 22 and subsequent retaliation by the Iranians against Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
