The Pentagon is still making up a database of Global War on Terror National Guard and Reserve veterans who could partake of extra college dollars approved in legislation more than a year ago. The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the Pentagon could move the list over to the VA some time this month. The VA would then be able to process applications and mail checks to as many as 175,000 vets. The benefit could be up to $827 a month, more than doubling what some terror war vets now receive.
