The Pentagon has lauded the Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB, Tex., and Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Andrews AFB, Md., for their efforts toward providing a safe environment for patients. Wilford Hall implemented an emergency room process to ensure rapid identification and registration for trauma patients. Malcolm Grow created an innovative process to improve communications among operating room team members, thereby expediting care to patients.
