USAF’s aerial demonstration team, the Thunderbirds, has settled on its 2006 schedule. The team plans to perform 66 shows in 29 states. Some sites will have more than one show, each of which comprises some 40 aerial maneuvers spanning about one hour. The 2006 season starts in March and closes in November. An important U.S. Air Force E-3 Sentry AWACS command and control plane was among the aircraft damaged in a March 27 Iranian missile and drone attack on Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia, people familiar with the matter told Air & Space Forces Magazine.
