Pew Survey Shows President’s Down on Terror: A new survey from the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press show President George Bush’s approval ratings have fallen to a new low in the aftermath of the Dubai Ports World controversy, with his overall approval rating now at 33 percent. Bush’s approvals on specific issues, in particular terrorism, have declined sharply, according to the poll. Currently, 42 percent of those surveyed approve of Bush’s job in handling terror threats, down from 62 percent in January 2005.
