USAF has again topped the list of the Environmental Protection Agency’s “Green Power” purchasers, besting even the EPA, which placed 4th in the listing of 25 top environmentally friendly purchasers. The list recognizes the top government agencies, corporations, cities, and states that purchase the largest amounts of electricity from clean, renewable resources like solar, wind, geothermal, and low-impact hydro.
The Air Force is poised to begin evaluating a new class of low-cost missiles needed to defeat the rapid growth of aerial threats it’s likely to face in the next conflict.
