Regni Lightens Disciplinary Action: The new boss at the US Air Force Academy has returned the minor infractions and high jinks attributed to USAFA cadets to in-house disciplinary measures rather than having them appear as permanent stains on a cadet’s USAF record. According to the Colorado Springs Gazette, Lt. Gen. John Regni has overturned the disciplinary system instituted by his predecessor during the height of the sexual assault scandal that included putting official letters about minor infractions in permanent records.
The rate of building B-21 bombers would speed up if the fiscal 2026 defense budget passes. But it remains unclear how much capacity would be added, and whether the Air Force would simply build the bombers faster, or buy more.
