Arras, a five-year-old Dutch shepherd explosives detector and patrol dog deployed to Iraq with his handler SSgt. Marcus Reaves was electrified Sept. 25 during a search for weapons and explosives in a building. The two deployed from the 78th Security Forces Squadron at Robins AFB, Ga. Holly Birchfield reports that Reaves was knocked unconscious and thrown about 30 feet from the explosion.
