The Pentagon apparently wants to energize its legislative affairs corps to become more proactive in its dealings with Congress, reports Megan Scully of Congress Daily. Robert Wilkie, the new assistant secretary for legislative affairs, told Scully in an interview that there is “no more important function” within DOD that getting the department’s “message out to the Hill.”
To meet growing demand for national security space capabilities, the Space Force's top enlisted leader says it needs to double in size. The Space Force has already surpassed its recruiting goals for fiscal 2026 and was at 125 percent of its goal after just five months.
