The Air Force’s new point man on values and vision—Rabbi Arnold E. Resnicoff—traveled to Southwest Asia on Aug. 12 to see how airmen are applying their principles in a combat zone. The Air Force named Resnicoff special assistant for values and visions following allegations of religious intolerance at the Air Force Academy earlier this year.
The Air Force is spending heavily on F-22 improvements through the end of the decade, suggesting it may not retire the jet in 2030 as it previously planned. New sensors, fuel tanks, communications, and electronic warfare systems are among the upgrades that comprise the package.
