Lt. Gen. Gary North, head of US Central Command Air Forces, recently met with Kenya Air Force officials in Kenya to discuss current and future security cooperation efforts. During a visit to Laikipia Air Base, North praised the “tireless efforts” of KAF airmen in supporting the country’s national security interests and extolled continued professional exchanges. He plans to send a team of CENTAF airmen to Kenya next month to work side-by-side with Kenya’s airmen on integrated operations and maintenance issues.
The rate of building B-21 bombers would speed up if the fiscal 2026 defense budget passes. But it remains unclear how much capacity would be added, and whether the Air Force would simply build the bombers faster, or buy more.
