The Air National Guard fell 13 percent short of its monthly recruiting goal for July, leaving it about 17 percent behind for the fiscal year, which ends on Sept. 30. The active duty Air Force and Air Force Reserve Command are meeting their recruiting goals for this fiscal year.
Anduril and General Atomics will develop their Collaborative Combat Aircraft for the Air Force, beating out Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman, the service announced on April 24. But any of the non-selected companies can compete to actually manufacture the eventual design, the Air Force said.
