The US is evaluating its support of the Saudi-led campaign on Houthi rebels in Yemen after an alleged Saudi strike killed dozens of civilians on Saturday. National Security Council spokesman Ned Price said in a statement that the US support for Saudi Arabia is not a “blank check.” “We have and continue to express our serious concerns about the conflict in Yemen and how it has been waged,” Price said. The US is calling for a cessation of hostilities while it reviews its support. Pentagon spokesman Navy Capt. Jeff Davis said during a Tuesday briefing that the US is continuing to refuel Saudi aircraft in the campaign and it still has a team advising Saudi Arabia on its air campaign, at least for the time being.
