How Airmen Pulled Off an ‘Unheard-of’ 26-Hour C-130 Flight Across the Pacific

Two crews from the 40th Airlift Squadron used external fuel tanks and human performance science to fly a C-130J more than 26 hours from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, to Guam, then perform missions when they arrived.
