More than 300 members of the 366th Fighter Wing, an F-15E unit at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, left Monday on a five-month deployment to Kunsan AB, South Korea, as part of a normal rotation of Air Force combat forces to the Pacific. These airmen, including aircraft maintainers and aircrews and F-15Es from the wing’s 389th Fighter Squadron, replace elements of the 13th FS, an F-16 unit assigned to Misawa AB, Japan, that had been rotationally deployed to Suwon AB, South Korea. Airman 1st Class Marcus White-Allen concocted a story to cover up that he fired his M18 9mm pistol into Airman Braden Lovan’s chest, killing him on July 20, two Airmen from F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo., testified during separate courts martial proceedings on Oct. 30-31.
