President Barack Obama has nominated Gen. Paul Selva to be commander of US Transportation Command at Scott AFB, Ill., according to a Feb. 7 release. Selva, who has served as commander of Air Mobility Command since November 2012, will replace Gen. William Fraser, who is retiring in June. Selva is a command pilot with more than 3,100 hours in the C-5, C-17A, C-141B, KC-10, KC-135, and the T-37.
The nominee to become the next head of U.S. Strategic Command, Vice Adm. Richard Correll, endorsed the production of more than 100 B-21 bombers, echoing his predecessor Gen. Anthony Cotton's view.
