New ANG Command Chief

The Air National Guard has a new top enlisted leader. CMS Ronald Anderson on June 2 became the ANG’s 12th command chief master sergeant, replacing CMS J?ames Hotaling. Anderson previously served as command chief master sergeant for Continental US North American Aerospace Defense Command Region and of 1st Air Force (Air Forces Northern). Hotaling retired in May. Anderson said he is excited for the future and the “incredible” opportunity. “The words escape me to express the gratitude I have,” he said. ANG Director Lt. Gen. L. Scott Rice said he will work closely with Anderson, and that the new command chief will help him “take the Air National Guard to the next step.”
