The Senate confirmed multiple general officer movements on March 31. Lt. Gen. Darren McDew, who will receive his fourth star, will replace Gen. Paul Selva as commander of Air Mobility Command; Lt. Gen. Bradley Heithold will replace Lt. Gen. Eric Fiel as commander of Air Force Special Operations Command; Maj. Gen. Thomas Trask will receive his third star for assignment as US Special Operations Command vice commander; Maj. Gen. Anthony Rock also will receive a third star for assignment as chief of the Office of the Defense Representative-Pakistan, at the US Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan.
