Air Force Reserve Command’s 934th Airlift Wing hosted a two-day dissimilar aircraft readiness training exercise for the command’s aeromedical evacuation squadrons Aug. 8-9 at the Minneapolis-St. Paul ARS in Minneapolis, Minn. The quarterly event brought together about 120 Reservists from various bases, along with two KC-135s, one C-17, and one C-130 to give hands-on training to flight nurses and aeromedical technicians on different aircraft than they have at their home bases. “I think this is the best DART I’ve ever participated in or coordinated,” said SMSgt. Ron Nowasell, chief of aeromedical evacuation training for 22nd Air Force, parent organization of the 934th AW. Air Force Inks Deal for 22 More Boeing F-15EX Fighters

The Air Force awarded Boeing a $2.38 billion contract for 22 F-15EX Eagle II fighters on Sept. 29, narrowly meeting a deadline to use funds from last summer’s reconciliation bill or face cuts.
