Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Welsh has chosen 12 books, five movies, images from six photographers, and 10 art collections for his 2015 professional reading list program. The books include fictional, historical, and biographical works on topics ranging from leadership to cybersecurity. Welsh received more than 1,700 submissions from airmen after putting out the call for suggestions in August 2014, according to a March 10 release. “The books and movies you recommended could fill a library … and fill it well with amazing fictional, historical, and biographical works, along with fascinating ideas about personal and organizational values, growth, and success,” said Welsh in a message to airmen. “Ultimately, each selection for 2015 tells an important story about the profession of arms or our Air Force core values.” (Read the full list.)
