Coalition strikes against ISIS’ oil trade have halved the group’s oil revenue from an estimated $30 million a month to $15 million a month—not the $300 million and $150 million amounts reported by the coalition last week—Operation Inherent Resolve spokesman Army Col. Christopher Garver clarified Wednesday during a press briefing.
The six-week government shutdown did not affect the hours flown by Air Force pilots, a service spokesperson told Air & Space Forces Magazine—avoiding what could have been a major blow at a time when flying hours are already lower than they have been in decades.
