In case you missed it the first time we ran this time, the Air Force informed us earlier this month that it is reviewing its practice of issuing daily summaries of coalition air activities in Afghanistan and Iraq. Until further notice, it has stopped providing the data we used to update the airpower chart at the bottom of each Daily Report column.
The Space Development Agency says it’s on track to issue its next batch of missile warning and tracking satellite contracts this month after those awards were delayed by the Pentagon’s decision to divert funds from the agency to pay troops during this fall’s prolonged government shutdown.
