The Pentagon announced late Feb. 20 that SSgt. Timothy P. Davis, 28, died Feb. 20 near Bagram, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device. Davis, of Aberdeen, Wash., had deployed to Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan from the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Fla.
