The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the 75th Air Base Wing commander at Hill AFB, Utah, announced that an Idaho man, William Jeffrey Stiffler, 39, has been arrested for alledgedly threatening Hill via the Internet. A July 24 statement says the FBI became aware of the threatening communication that morning and contacted the Air Force Office of Special Investigations at Hill. The FBI and AFOSI, working with local sheriffs, investigated and participated in the arrest “without incident.”
