Lockheed Martin won a $2 billion contract from the Air Force to provide operational and network management for the Transformational Satellite Communications program. The TSAT Mission Operations System, or TMOS, contract covers integration of network architecture and design. Lockheed is to complete the work by September 2015.
Anduril and General Atomics will develop their Collaborative Combat Aircraft for the Air Force, beating out Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman, the service announced on April 24. But any of the non-selected companies can compete to actually manufacture the eventual design, the Air Force said.
