A comprehensive readiness review of all the combat air forces, as well as a companion training review, will be complete in time for the Corona South meeting of USAF four-stars soon after the first of the year, Gen. William Fraser, head of Air Combat Command, said Wednesday at AFA’s Air & Space Conference. Fraser told reporters that the review will help decide a range of issues including the specific structural and capability upgrades needed for legacy fighters to remain relevant and capable throughout the remainder of their service lives.
