Another national survey, this one conducted by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press Feb. 7-11, indicates that there’s almost an even split among Americans who believe the US will succeed in Iraq and those who don’t think success is possible. About two-thirds believe things are going poorly and probably headed toward civil war. A majority believes the Administration should bring US troops home as soon as possible.
