A new Gallup Poll asked Americans to name the “most important problem facing this country today” and, not surprisingly, some 36 percent proffered the situation/war in Iraq at their No. 1 concern. That concern eclipsed all others, with healthcare and dissatisfaction with government running far behind at nine percent. The Iraq situation has been high on a fairly consistent level for some time, but this is the highest pucker factor recorded so far by Gallup.
