The San Francisco Chronicle now reports that the Air Force has removed a document from an Air Force Web site that was a mite too specific about Air Force One and potential vulnerabilities. The newspaper had informed the Secret Service and the Air Force about the document, which turned out to be an unclassified technical order, but a week went by before it was pulled. Kudos to the Chronicle for alerting authorities and for not disclosing the specific Web site in its original article while the TO was still online.
The Air Force has begun flying its CV-22 Ospreys again. But that is just the start of a multi-step process to return the fleet to normal operations following a deadly crash last year, the service says.
