JSF Simulator Lands in Hawaii: Airmen at Hickam AFB, Hawaii, recently got a look at the future of fifth-generation fighter training when Lockheed Martin’s F-35 Joint Strike Fighter pilot interface simulator came to the base. The simulator is very close to the real thing and has already been tested on different platforms, according to Lockheed’s Clyde Bellinger. Pilots will have the advantage of using an advanced cockpit display that will put all the tactical situational information right there in one place, said Maj. The Government Accountability Office called for paring down the military's sprawling cyber enterprise in a recent report, amid renewed discussion about standing up a separate cyber force.
