The Defense Information Systems Agency has created a center of excellence for radio frequency spectrum analysis, planning, and support to be called the Defense Spectrum Organization. The DSO will merge and realign DISA’s existing Defense Spectrum Office and Joint Spectrum Center.
The Space Force’s work to establish a pool of at-the-ready commercial satellite capacity during a crisis is moving out of the pilot phase as the service prepares to award its next batch of contracts in 2026.
