There’s life anew in the unidentified flying object world with some two dozen former military and commercial pilots and government officials from seven countries calling for renewed investigations. The Air Force closed its Project Blue Book in the late 1960s, but reports from Reuters and AFP news services say the international panel on Monday asked for either Air Force or NASA to begin new investigations. One panelist, former Arizona Gov. and Air Force pilot Fife Symington said, “We want the US government to stop perpetuating the myth that all UFOs can be explained away in down-to-earth, conventional terms.”
An important U.S. Air Force E-3 Sentry AWACS command and control plane was among the aircraft damaged in a March 27 Iranian missile and drone attack on Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia, people familiar with the matter told Air & Space Forces Magazine.
