Air Force Reserve Command airmen are building—and tearing down—an Expeditionary Medical Support +25 Theater Hospital facility at Kunsan AB, South Korea. SSgt. Alice Moore reports that more than 60 airmen came from the 944th Fighter Wing at Luke AFB, Ariz., along with some from 10th Air Force and 4th Air Force, as well as Brooks City-Base, Tex. The Reservists are part of Air Expeditionary Force 7 rotation and fulfilling their normal overseas annual tour. The Reserve deployment also is giving Kunsan medics an opportunity to exercise their EMEDS capability and is the first time the entire EMEDS package has been unveiled on the peninsula.
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. has flown a second YFQ-42A Collaborative Combat Aircraft, stepping up the pace of testing for the new uncrewed fighter escort. The company also announced “Gambit 6,” a fresh variant in its CCA family meant for air-to-ground missions.
