The driver of a van carrying three airmen fell asleep at the wheel and lost control of the vehicle, which rolled over near Wadi El Na Natron City, Egypt on September 19, Air Force investigators announced Monday. According to the incident report, the driver lost control and flipped the vehicle when attempting to right the van. He apparently was speeding. An Air Force officer was killed and two enlisted airmen were injured in the accident. They were in Egypt as part of the Bright Star combined exercise.
