Airmen with Air Force Reserve Command’s 315th Airlift Wing at Charleston AFB, S.C., created a miniature C-17 that can be transported around the country in a special trailer to aid recruiting—and just show off the airlifter to the public. Recently, they also spruced up the trailer, decorating it with a new art scheme.
Dozens of fighter jets gathered at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida last week to kick off one of the service’s biggest air combat exercises despite the government shutdown. More than 50 aircraft and 500 personnel are participating in Checkered Flag 26-1.
