The Air Force’s provisional Cyber Command has launched its own Web site. The site includes statements about the importance of cyberspace (click on Library at the top of the page) and news releases from around the Air Force about cyber-related activities. Among these is one we missed, the graduation of USAF’s first network warfare class. The 39th Information Operations Squadron at Hurlburt Field developed the course, which provides 38 days on the basics of warfare in cyberspace. The 39th IOS handles part 2, the in-residence portion of Undergraduate Network Warfare Training, while the Vermont Air National Guard’s 229th IOS provides part 1, an Advanced Distributed Learning Course.
