An investigation board has decided that the death of SrA. Abby J. Bilbrey on May 4 when the vehicle in which she riding on the way to a remote transmitter site in the White Tank Mountains in Arizona rolled off the mountain was accidental. Bilbrey was turning over driving duty to another airman, A1C Isaac Acosta, when the accident took place. Both airmen were with the 56th Communications Squadron at Luke AFB, Ariz.
The Space Development Agency says it’s on track to issue its next batch of missile warning and tracking satellite contracts this month after those awards were delayed by the Pentagon’s decision to divert funds from the agency to pay troops during this fall’s prolonged government shutdown.
