The 55th annual Operation Christmas Drop—spearheaded by Andersen AFB, Guam with airlift assistance from Yokota AB, Japan—delivered 18.5 tons of supplies and gifts over a five-day period to islands in the Pacific. Air Force Reservists with the 419th Fighter Wing at Hill AFB, Utah, hosted a Christmas party for students with special needs at an area school, continuing an 18-year tradition.

Air Combat Command is changing how it measures and tracks readiness for its fleet of aircraft, with a top general saying the focus is on “simplicity” and better articulating what its wings need.
